I met Anya and Ryan months ago when we were discussing their save the dates. Anya’s wedding planner, Emily of Izzey Design, and I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely couple at their home. They were perfect hosts. While sitting down with the bride, wine glass in tow, I noticed that her eye was drawn to fabrics and textiles. More specifically, she loved repeating patterns with round shapes. That was my starting point. As you can imagine, when I found a handcrafted paper, that looked like fabric, and had gold, round mums, I nearly fell out of my chair. It was perfect! Even the colors were perfect! From there, I created a mock up. The invitation was adorned with linen fabric sewn to the paper. The RSVP in a similar style. The only thing left in question was how to keep them together as one grand package. As you can see in the photo below, I decided on a belly band sealed with the couple’s logo that is not only on their save the dates, but will also be incorporated throughout the ceremony and reception.
